DeskArcade is a macOS app made by Code Ninja Coaching Limited. We keep this simple because we collect almost nothing.
What the app collects
When DeskArcade launches, it sends a single anonymous ping containing: a randomly generated install ID (stored only on your device and sent as an irreversible hash), the app version, and your macOS version. We use this only to count how many people use DeskArcade.
DeskArcade also sends a few anonymous, aggregate usage events so we can see which features get used and improve the app: when a game or tool is opened, how long it stayed open, and when the overlay is summoned. These events carry only an internal game name (e.g. "hoops") and a duration — never your scores, your activity, or anything about your work. Like the launch ping, they're tied only to the same irreversible install hash so we can tell returning installs from new ones in aggregate.
All of this contains no personal information, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. The anonymous analytics are processed by TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics provider.
DeskArcade does not read your files, your screen, your keystrokes, or the contents of other apps. To draw the games it reads publicly available app icons and on-screen window positions — it never captures, stores, or transmits any of that.
What the website collects
Our website (getdeskarcade.com) is hosted on a standard static host, which keeps basic, aggregate logs such as page visits and download counts. These are not tied to your identity.
